Open Practice Audition - York University Department of Dance

Are you interested in applying to York University's Dance BFA program? Would you like to learn more about the audition process? Join us on Tuesday, November 21 for a first-hand chance to see what it's all about at our Open Practice Audition!

Participants will have the opportunity to walk through the audition class experience in a no-pressure environment; get to know some of our instructors, students, and spaces; ask questions about the program and the application/audition process; and stay for an exclusive viewing of the tech/dress rehearsal for our fall curricular performance, Dance Innovations.

The event will be held in Studio E (ACE 249) on the second floor of the Accolade East Building, located just south of the York University TTC Station on our Keele Campus. Paid parking is also available. The Open Practice Audition will take place from 5:00-7:00 pm, with the Dance Innovations tech/dress rehearsal immediately following.

What to wear: Clothing that allows you to move freely, safely, and comfortably.

What to bring: Just yourself! No ballet slippers or specific footwear necessary.

NOTE: Please reserve only 1 event "ticket" per student/participant. Each student/participant may bring up to two guests (family members, guardians, etc.).
