Jem Bosatta! He's a man who has/had a job delivering bread. Bread is to break, break is to hold and destroy. To create, to create is to bake, to bake is to heat, K*ll yeast, bacteria to maintain existence. Vegemite or Marmite, this is the real question. Freshly toasted, buttered, and then what next? The black salty blood of the English or the Antipod? Is not a question of taste but too, a question of existence. Vegemite wouldn't exist without Imperialism. - You can perform 2 original compositions/cover songs/poems, within 10 minutes!
- We have an acoustic guitar to borrow.
- We don't have keys but you can bring yours!
- Yes we have a PA and cables etc.
For non musicians:
The Open Mic is Donation based 5-10€ per person. For 4 hours of live music, this is above fair and non negotiable!

Jem Bosatta will sing for anyone who listens, like, really listens. Uniting poetry with folky melodies and subtle guitar accompaniment, each of his songs is a world unto itself, crafted with great care, full of surprising details. You never know quite what'll be served up from his deep and ever-evolving repertoire of mostly unrecorded music. Each performance is a precious and unrepeatable moment. For fans of Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen.
