Monthly Open Mics now on Saturdays at The Groove Theater on Grove Ave. in Prescott. Hosted by Morgan Cooper and Andy Hofer.This is the open mic that you should come to even if you've never performed in front of others before. People come to listen, and while you'll be able to get a cup of coffee, you won't be competing with background noise of conversation and bottles clinking.
Bring your music, your art, readings or writings to share, or just come to enjoy what others bring! We've had some amazing musicians show up over the past months and some have become regulars.
Which brings us to our new location, which we've decided to name "The Groove Theater" because we see all kinds of music, art and theatrical events and workshops coming here in the near future. We've been gifted with an amazing, 100+ year-old brick house on Grove Ave., where we are already providing music lessons (piano and bass so far, guitar and percussion workshops coming soon).
