We are excited to announce SARAH BARLOW will be our featured musician this month serenading us with her cosmic country soul straight in from Texas!

Sarah's Story:

From a young age, Sarah Barlow dreamed of becoming an opera singer. But it was the blues, and jazz that captured her heart and soul. Growing up listening to her grandpa’s vintage blues records, she was first drawn to the music of Billie Holiday, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith, and Etta James. At age 17, she began working with Austin's esteemed Clifford Antone, who introduced her to a world of powerful female voices including Barbara Lynn, Irma Thomas, Koko Taylor, Lou Ann Barton, and more.

Between 2007 and 2018, Sarah traveled extensively throughout the United States, France, and Australia discovering the local music scenes as she pursued songwriting -- becoming her own personal legend.
