And the June Hootenanny shall fall the day before the Summer Solstice AND on our newest Federal Holiday, Juneteenth; making this an extra special Afrocentric and Henge-tastic Celebration!You know how we roll: An eclectic array of talented performers, a passel of scintillating spectators, and the gorgeous North Street Cabaret with its panoply of inexpensive libations.

Michael Hollywood returned to Wisconsin after 35 years in Chicago. He has experience as a Standup Comic, Storyteller, Musician, Performance Poet, Lecturer, Tour Guide, and Writer (amongst other things). He is co-author of a book about Chicago Filmmaking and a graduate of DePaul University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He considers Live Performance to be a sacred activity and takes a special joy in helping others to connect with their own creativity.
