Open Mic Night at Fable

Get ready for a night of artistic expression in Fable's bookshop basement as we host our Open Mic Night!

​Expect an evening brimming with music, poetry, spoken word, and comedy as we invite gifted performers to take the stage and share their art with our Fable community in our intimate, cozy, creative setting. This is a welcoming environment full of self expression and a creative community of humans. Arrive at 7pm to select your seat (first come, first serve!) and performances will start promptly at 7:20pm. The event is very popular, so do arrive on time otherwise your seat is not guaranteed.
Our bookshop in Príncipe Real is the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy performances by local artists, and mingle with fellow art lovers - and while you’re here, maybe even grab a glass of natural wine and enjoy a delicious bite to eat - yes, we do that too!
We know full well that our Fable community is packed full of talented performers and can't wait to share them with you! See you soon! :)

​Whether you're a seasoned performer or looking to make your debut, this is your chance to be part of an inclusive community event that celebrates creativity and self-expression. There are only 8 performance slots available so we will be taking applications to ensure we have a luscious variety of acts for our fabulous Fable audience.

Fable is an English bookshop, cafe, and creative events space in Lisbon. We offer wholesome meals, specialty coffee, natural wine, and a thoughtfully curated selection of both fiction and non-fiction books. We also host a medley of events and workshops focused on creativity, wellness, book and music launch parties, and inclusive community gatherings.
