THE AREA'S LONGEST RUNNING WEEKLY TUESDAY NIGHT OPEN MIC BLUES JAM IS MOVING TO WEDNESDAY TEMPORARILY AS THE MUSIC SCENE AT HELL'S BOTTOM GETS INTO GEAR AFTER THE PANDEMIC-----NO COVER!!! NO MINIMUM!!!
So come on out to Takoma Park's cozy VFW Post. Bring your amps, horns, harps or what have you.
Sign ups and music begins at 6:00. with the jam starts off at by 6:30 and runs til 9.
Jam sets will generally be fifteen minutes or three songs long (whichever is shorter) and electric or acoustic players are welcome. Rock and country and other blues-based genres are welcome, too.
VFW Post 350 is a wonderfully casual setting (funky-in the best possible way) that features adult beverages for great prices, . There is no food service, but feel free to carry something in to eat.
