Open Mic at the Finnish Bistro is a weekly event every Sunday. We welcome musicians and poetry performers of all levels in a family-friendly atmosphere.
The sign-up starts at 4:45 PM. The open mic is from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Each performer gets to play up to 2 songs or 10 minutes whichever comes first.
The venue is equipped with a sound system. We also provide an 88-key electric keyboard on stage. The stage is small; it only fits up to 2 people at a time.
This is an all-age event in a family-friendly cafe. The material must be kept appropriate for the audience.
The event is hosted by a team of hosts including Max Rewitzer, Ry Edwards, Michael Mooridian, and Jun Sugiyama who take turns to host each night.
On Sundays, the parking space just behind the building is free for the guests to park. Participating in the open mic is free, but please purchase something from the venue.
