Whether you’re a singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, ukulele enthusiast, shower superstar, or simply someone who loves live music, join us for an afternoon of musical magic at Common Ground.
Our Open Mic session is a relaxed, friendly space where local musicians can share their talent, test out new songs, and enjoy a supportive audience that promises to clap enthusiastically (even if they don’t know the words).
Expect original music, favourite covers, unexpected duets, and maybe even that one song you’ll be humming all the way home.

New to Common Ground? We’re a community space run by Mission Inclusion CIC, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to bringing people together.
This event is completely free to attend. Our café will be open throughout the event, serving drinks and refreshments. As a community venue, we kindly ask that guests support the space by purchasing from our café and refrain from bringing food or drinks from elsewhere.
Every penny of profit from the café is reinvested into community programmes, activities, and the ongoing refurbishment of the building, helping us create an even better space for everyone.
So every coffee, tea, or slice of cake helps make more community magic happen. In a way, buying a slice of cake is basically community investment.
