Hi friends in the Prostate Cancer Support Group,
All Meetings now start at 2pm
The Prostate Support Group meets Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
NOTE: The Prostate Cancer Support Group will NOT MEET
on Tuesday, September 16th.
Regular meetings will resume on October 7, 2025
At this meeting we can watch a video on Gleason 7 prostate cancer. We have two to choose from, one on treatments and side effects, the other on active surveillance vs. focal therapy.
Here are directions to our in-person meeting in Building 1 (the main building).
Directions to Room 1290/1291:
1) After entering Building 1 (the first building as you drive in to the AZ Cancer Center campus), turn left and walk toward the Cafe at the end of the hall.
2) At the end of the hall, turn right and walk down past the restrooms and the elevator.
3) Room(s) 1290/1291 are the last doors on your left before you reach a double door leading to a staff only section.
Support groups foster a sense of community. It's easy to feel isolated and alone when you're not feeling well or worried. Being with others who know the situation from the inside is helpful, even uplifting. At the very least it can help relieve some stress, and that's a good thing. So I hope you'll join in, and feel free to share the meeting link with others who might benefit.
