A warm welcome to a special event where we'll dive into the exciting Midsummer traditions of Finland!As the sun dances in the northern sky during midsummer, Finland comes alive with ancient customs and celebrations steeped in folklore and cultural heritage. At the event, we'll unravel the fascinating history and origins of the Midsummer celebration in Finland. We'll also share tips on how to embrace the magic of Midsummer in true Finnish style.
In order to sprinkle a bit more joy, we're organizing a brief herb-picking session for some hands-on fun.
Also the excitement doesn't end there! We're capping off the day with a grand multicultural potluck picnic. Bring your favorite dish to share, and let's feast together in a celebration of diverse cultures and flavors.
WHERE: We meet at Luckan, Georgsgatan 27 sharp 10.00 and take a bus to Seuraasaari.
