For the next 10 weeks, every Thursday night in Savannah, the city’s music community comes together for the most exciting live music event downtown — Thursday Nights at Barrelhouse South hosted by Xulu Jones & Oisin Daly of Xuluprophet. All instruments welcome.
From 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎:𝟒𝟓 𝐏𝐌, musicians of all levels can hit the stage, plug in, and play. We provide a drum kit, guitar and bass amps, DI’s, and a top-notch sound system so you can focus on delivering your best performance. Whether you’re a solo act, a full band, a hip hop MC, or an acoustic singer-songwriter, the stage is yours.
What makes this Open Jam special:
• Hosted by veteran Savannah musicians from Xuluprophet, known for their reggae rock, funk, and jam-based sets.
• Sign-up is first come, first served, creating an authentic and spontaneous night of music.
• Open to all genres: rock, reggae, funk, jazz, hip hop, blues, indie, folk, and more.
• Great networking for local and visiting musicians looking to collaborate.
• Food available from Orale Tacos, one of Savannah’s favorite Mexican food spots.
• After the jam, the night rolls straight into Latin Dance Night with DJ Ceasar — a high-energy party that keeps the crowd moving.
