Heritage Farm and Compost Tour (October 18, 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM) - See our seeding, learn our crop plan, and how we nourish the soil on the Heritage Farm. Then see where we turn food waste into valuable compost!
Open Artist Studios (October 19, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM) - Enjoy a self-guided tour of Snug Harbor’s artist studios: spaces with very limited public access during the rest of the year.
Open Studio and Artist Talk with Tatiana Arocha (October 20, 12:00 PM) - Tatiana Arocha, current Artist in Residence through the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, presents an open studio and artist talk about her work.
Sailor's Snug Harbor Historical Tour (October 20, 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM) - Learn the history of our 19th century campus and the architecture that put Snug Harbor on the map of irreplaceable architectural collections, featuring six of the first 40 New York City landmarks.
Open Studio and Artist Talk with Tatiana Arocha is made possible through generous support from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the Samuel I. Newhouse Foundation.
