We are thrilled to announce our second Bloch Performing Arts Open House on Sunday, October 5th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Somerville Music Spaces! This exciting event is a wonderful opportunity for both our current families and prospective students to experience the fantastic community we’ve built together.
Join us for an afternoon filled with music, inspiration, and connection! Parents and students will have the chance to meet our talented instructors, learn more about our programs, and witness the passion that drives our students. We encourage you to invite any friends or family who may be interested in joining our musical community!
Open House Schedule:
2:30pm doors open, welcome to explore space
2:45pm - 3:15pm introductions, presentation of programs and offerings, Q&A session, short performance of select faculty, students, and alumni
3:15pm-4:30pm open 15min intro to voice or piano lessons with Rafi and Akela, Q&A with our student ambassadors and founder, Jessica Bloch-Moisand
Doors close at 4:30pm
Please enjoy our photo booth, merch, and some free tasty snacks, and meeting parents and students throughout the event!
Bloch Performing Arts was founded in 2021 by Jessica Bloch-Moisand, and started as solely The Bloch Voice Studio. Now Bloch Performing Arts is expanding to include piano lessons with Rafi Mayer at The Mayer Piano Studio, and more voice lessons with Akela Franklin at The Franklin Voice Studio. Additionally we now have Music Production classes and individual instruction available with Rafi Mayer. All lessons currently take place at either Somerville Music Spaces or at the teaching artists home studios.
