Open House - Community Event

What started as a launch party for an author client at Moxie quickly grew into a community event with some of our most beloved artisan clients and Alexandria/Northern Virginia vendors!

We will be featuring local author, Lacey Dunham, who has just published a novel, The Belles, releasing September 9th.

For food, you can get macarons, dip into a mobile charcuterie bar, and sample some delicious hard cider made in Leesburg!

We will have a leatherworker and his handmade bags and goods, a watercolor artist where you can buy her work or participate in collaborative art with her, see our beautiful pumpkin porch display and meet the ladies behind decorating it, chat with the people behind Old Town Books and Friends to Lovers--both staples of the Old Town community! And last, but not least, get an on-site piercing (and potentially flash tattoos with the same team from Cobalt Tattoo Studio, updates on that will be posted on our Moxie Instagram!). We will be running 2 raffles full of amazing prizes! Including a photoshoot with The June Press, a full hair service with Meredith, the owner, at Moxie, plus other goodies from the vendors.

We sincerely hope you can swing in and say hi, grab a snack to walk around with, and enjoy an evening of community with these talented, cool friends of ours!

Parking on Queen and beyond is free, parking immediately out front on our street is metered parking with the ParkMobile app, and you can always park at the parking garage across from Dolci Gelati and one block up from Moxie for $10 (or less). There are 2 very small sets of landing stairs to climb.

Tickets are free, they just to help us get a general head count! There will be some light event photography to post to our instagram.
