KDOT is hosting a public open house to share
information on the upcoming construction of the
U.S. 69 (18th Street) Bridge closure over the Kansas
River and BNSF rail yard.
The purpose of the open house is to provide a
project overview and share anticipated construction
schedule and state route detour for the 18th Street
Bridge closure.
The open house is available for attendees to come
and go at any time to review information and visit with
project staff. There will be no formal presentation.

Project information and the opportunity to comment
will be available on the project webpage beginning
February 21: https://18thstreetbridgekck.ksdot.gov/
Comments will be collected through March 20,
2025. The website will be updated as the project
progresses.
