WHI ensemble return to the Danish Institute at Athens for the fifth consecutive year to present a concert featuring open form compositions and appreciating the work of Danish composer Carl Bergstroem-Nielsen.CONCERT #5 - PROGRAM

WHI ensemble was founded in 2017.
Emerged from Alexis Porfiriadis’ improvised music workshops.
Perform experimental music scores, with special interest in open form verbal and graphic scores. Presented compositions by John Cage, Christian Wolff, Joseph Kudirka, John White, Cornelius Cardew, Karlheinz Stockhausen, James Saunders, Jukka Pekka Kervinen, Pauline Oliveros and Philip Corner in several venues in Athens.
In close collaboration with the Danish Institute at Athens the past few years we have staged several concerts celebrating the work of Carl Bergstroem-Nielsen, along with compositions by Henrik E. Rasmussen, Dmitri Papavasileiou, Niki Krasaki and Alexis Porfiriadis.
