Join us at Peacock Farm in Muston for Open Farm Sunday 2026 — a relaxed, family-friendly day out on a real working farm.Open Farm Sunday is a national initiative organised by LEAF, where farms across the UK open their gates to help the public learn more about modern farming, food production and the countryside. We’re proud to be taking part again this year and look forward to welcoming visitors onto the farm.
There’ll be plenty to see and do throughout the day, including:
* Tractor and trailer rides
* Farm machinery and displays
* Children’s activities
* Chick handling
* Milking demonstrations
* Horses
* Charity and community stalls
* Catering and refreshments, including food from Gelston Lamb
* Tea, coffee and homemade cakes
* Oil pressing demonstrations
* Educational displays and talks about farming, wildlife and the countryside
Our honesty shed will also be open throughout the day, with Peacock Farm products available to buy including cold-pressed rapeseed oil, infused vinegars and honey.
The main aim of the day is to help people better understand where food comes from, how modern farms operate, and the work that goes into managing the countryside.
Free entry. Parking and toilets available on site.
Please note:
* This is a working farm with uneven ground in places
* Children must be supervised at all times
* Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control around livestock and machinery
