This year is our ELEVENTH Open Farm Sunday and will be welcoming visitors to see behind the scenes of Wheelbirks!This year you can look forward to:
Tractor & trailer rides: around Wheelbirks farm, with a commentary from Hugh or Tom Richardson who farm here. Have a look around Wheelbirks on our tractor & trailer rides! We have a specially made trailer to take you around the farm, and see what goes on behind the scenes! Hugh and Tom will provide the commentary, whilst you enjoy the ride!
Tickets msut be purchased on the day prior to the ride.
Walking farm tours: guided by Hugh or Tom our resident farmers, have a sneak peak at our ice cream making facilities and see where our delicious Jersey ice cream is made. A self-guided tour to show you inside the ice cream making hub! See all the machinery we use to turn our gorgeous Jersey milk into the delicious ice cream we sell in the Parlour!
Milking Parlour experience: See exactly where our milk comes from – straight out of the cow! Come and have a look inside our milking Parlour where this important process occurs every day of the year.
Meet the animals: Our farmyard will be full of animals to meet from cows and chicks to goats and donkeys!
Bouncy castle in the Orchard
Go karts in the barn
The day will be from 10am - 5pm, with the Parlour open during these hours selling our usual delicious home made food, hot and cold drinks and ice cream!
