Empowering Multicultural Women to Lead, Thrive and Create Change
Are you a woman from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background looking to strengthen your leadership skills, grow your career, start a business, or make a greater impact in your community?
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for the 2026 NETRI Leadership Program, an innovative and culturally tailored leadership initiative to be delivered by Initiatives for Women in Need (IWiN) in collaboration with Multicultural Hub (MHUB) and Sage Advice.

NETRI 2026 Program Starts on 1st of August 2026 with its first Full day Workshop on Building Communication and Networking Skills.
🌟 Scholarship Opportunity
Thanks to the generous support of Multicultural Hub (MHUB), six (6) scholarships valued at $1,100 each are available for eligible participants.
There are additional four (4) IWiN scholarships (as a fee waiver of $1,100 each) to support women experiencing / experienced discrimination (domestic violence, racism, sexual harassment/ violence, gender bias, disability) and non-recognition of overseas skills and experience.
These 10 scholarships cover a substantial portion of the program fee, making the NETRI Leadership Program more accessible to women who are committed to developing their leadership potential.

Please note that scholarship recipients will be selected through the Expressions of Interest (EOI) process.
What You'll Learn
Across six immersive full day face-to-face workshops and five online sessions, participants will build practical skills in critical areas of leadership and entrepreneurship.
Leadership Workshops
Six interactive full-day workshops, from 9:30am to 3:30pm (includes Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea and all training materials):
- Workshop 1 – 1 Aug 2026: Developing Communication and Networking skills
- Workshop 2 – 15 Aug 2026: Creating Digital Branding and Personal Brand Image & Style
- Workshop 3 – 29 Aug 2026: Developing Mental Health Awareness and Resilience Building skills
- Workshop 4 – 5 Sep 2026: Developing Financial Literacy, Planning and Management skills
- Workshop 5 – 19 Sep 2026: Developing Business Plan/Project Plan/Resource Management Plan
- Workshop 6 – 3 Oct 2026: Developing Basic IT and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Application skills
These Leadership Workshops will be supplemented with 5 online sessions , each of 2 hours duration in between above workshops.
Additional Opportunities
Participants will also have the opportunity to:
- Publish an article, story, opinion piece or poem in IWiN's Women Unbound magazine
- Showcase their creativity and achievements through FEMFEST 2026 on Saturday 26 September (TBA)
- Celebrate their accomplishments at a formal Graduation Ceremony

NETRI welcomes women from multicultural backgrounds who are:

- Students aspiring to become future leaders
Selection Requirements:
- No previous leadership experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm to be a leader/entrepreneur and commitments to attend all 6 full-day workshops, 5 online sessions, FEMFEST 2026 event and a desire to learn.
- All questions of the EOI Form must be answered with detail information about applicant's skills, experience and backgrounds.
