Open Doors at Justice 2024

Justice Canada annually hosts an Open Doors at Justice event to engage in dialogue with the public and stakeholders on various topics related to making government more open and accessible. This year, the Open Doors at Justice event will take place on May 30, 2024, during Open Government Week (May 27 to 31).

The 2024 Open Doors at Justice event will provide an opportunity for us to come together to share the scope of work at Justice. The focus of the event will be on Justice Canada’s commitment to supporting open dialogue and key open government principles of citizen participation, transparency and accountability. The event will also highlight employment opportunities available to those who may wish to join the Department.

Please note this will be a hybrid event taking place in-person at the Department of Justice Canada Library in Ottawa as well as virtually through Zoom. Simultaneous translation and real-time captioning will be available for virtual attendees, while the in-person event will be hosted in French and English without simultaneous translation. This event will not be recorded.

You will be given the option to choose your ticket type during registration. There will be limited spaces for in-person attendance (50) at the Department of Justice Canada Library in Ottawa.

Registration for in-person participation closes at 12:00 a.m. on May 27, while registration for virtual participation closes 12 pm on May 30th.
