Produced by the Center and directed by Miami-based filmmaker Freddy Rodriguez, the Open Dialogues films Gen QueerZ, Queer Allies, Black Voices | Black Stories, and Stories From the LGBTQ Community capture the personal narratives and performances of community leaders who have been marginalized based on race and/or gender.

Open Dialogues was created to engage residents of South Florida in honest and often revealing discussions that advance acceptance and inclusion for all members of our community. These black-and-white films help build collaborative networks among artists, writers, community members, nonprofits, businesses, schools, and government agencies seeking to address discriminatory practices and social injustice.
