Newcastle Pr*son A History 1828-1925

Did you know there used to be a Pr*son in Newcastle City Centre? If you are interested in learning more, come along and hear from the authors of a book about this forgotten landmark.

Written on the 100th anniversary of its closure, Newcastle Pr*son A History 1828-1925 (Tyne Bridge Publishing) explores hidden stories of the prisoners, the staff and the history of the Pr*son. Using specially commissioned 3D modelled images, the Pr*son is brought back to life. Join three of the authors, Patrick Low, Shane McCorristine, Helen Rutherford and Clare Sandford-Couch as they discuss their research and tell some of the stories they discovered.
