Open Day

This is our annual open day at Hayle Park Nature Reserve. Come along and find out about our work and learn more about our natural world with our conservation themed activties.

There will be performances of the Library at The Edge of the World - a magical pop-up interactive show and writing experience for young audiences to celebrate the power of stories. A larger than life puppet librarian will invite audiences to join her mission to create a home for the stories of the world's most overlooked inhabitants. Each of the books she has carefully catalogued will bring to life, through vivid puppetry and sound, the story of the overlooked living things around us: from woodlice to fungi, to trees, kelp and crows.

River's Rodents and Reptiles will also be joining us - a hands on live animal experience with fun educational facts, promoting sensory development (www.riversrodentsandreptiles.co.uk)
