Open Data ADDATHON - Online & Worldwide

Abu Dhabi Digital Authority is launching its 2nd hackathon, the , and is calling on start-ups, businesses, data scientists, developers, and professionals from all over the globe to go online for 2-weeks to transform raw data into new digital solutions for the city of Abu Dhabi.

Participants will gain exclusive access to untouched data collected from all corners of the city of Abu Dhabi through ADDA’s open source database. This colossal database includes detailed information concerning the economy, agriculture, tourism, and more. Participants will have 10 days to present their prototype and win over the jury in hope of landing in the top 3 to take home their part of the $30,000 prize pool.

The challenge is simple: using this database, create #DigitalSolutions to help improve the city’s infrastructure. Any useful output is accepted; be it a program, an application, a dashboard, or even a document.
