Open Collective Advocacy Meeting for People with Autism and/or ADHD
About this Event
No formal diagnosis is needed, but this is a protected space for people with lived experience of Autism and/or ADHD.
This session will give you the opportunity to feed directly into ongoing service planning work in Edinburgh for adults with ADHD and/or autism, as well as find out more about collective advocacy and share your experiences with your peers in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Please note:
- We want this to be a safe space for everyone to share their views and be themselves, without fear of stigma or harassment. We welcome everyone who has Autism, ADHD or both.
- This meeting is facilitated by staff of CAPS Independent Advocacy, but is led by the experiences and voices of people to decide what is important to them and what advocacy issues they want to address and how to do this.
- You do not need to be involved in any CAPS groups to attend this meeting, but you would be welcome to join as we move forward.
