During this open-class session of POBS 630H (Futuridades Cuír/Queer: Reimagining the Portuguese-Speaking World Through Fiction), Natalia Borges Polesso will talk about her work as a queer writer in Brazil, centering queerness and the role of water, as an element, as part of her approach to literature and the ideas behind her fictional work. This will be followed by an informal conversation about some of the short stories in the book Condições Ideais de Navegação para Iniciantes (2024). The event will be conducted in Portuguese.
