📚 OPEN BOOK CLUB
The first rule of Open Book Club:
We DO talk about Open Book Club.
Traditional book clubs aren't for everyone. Maybe you don't want assigned reading. Maybe you didn't finish the book. Maybe you just really need someone to know about the book you stayed up until 2 AM reading.
Bring a lawn chair and a fiction book you're currently reading or recently finished. We'll introduce our books, give them an overall ⭐ rating, and use our highly scientific emoji system to let everyone know what they're getting themselves into.

🩸 Dark | 🧩 Twisty | 🗺️ Adventure | 🪄 Fantasy
🚀 Sci-Fi | ❤️ Romance | 🕰️ Historical | 🪝 Page-Turner
Use the ones that fit. Ignore the ones that don't. Multiple 🌶️ or 🧅 are absolutely permitted when circumstances require adequate warning.
All fiction readers are welcome. Books and discussions may cover a variety of genres and themes—our emoji system will help you know what you're getting yourself into.
No assigned reading. No homework. Keep it spoiler-free. Love a terrible book? Hate a beloved one? Quit halfway through? All valid reviews. Share your book with the group or just come listen and collect recommendations.
And if someone else brings the same book?

After all, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a reader with an empty TBR must be in want of another book.
