THINGS TO DO!
MEET RESCUED FARM ANIMALS
Cuddle chickens, rub pig bellies, hang out with the goats and sheep, and feed the donkeys!
KIDS CORNER
- Kids can hang out in our Kid Korner where they can color, do a craft, and meet other kids (Kids must be supervised by their parent at all times).
- Story time in the Kid's Corner is at 11:30a -11:40a and 12:30 - 12:40p.
SANCTUARY GRILL Ⓥ
- Grab lunch from our very own Sanctuary Grill! Everything we serve is ALWAYS meat, egg and dairy free.
BRINGING OUTSIDE FOOD
- We have delicious, plant-based hot dogs and drinks for purchase; however, you are welcome to bring your own drinks, food, and snacks to enjoy at our picnic tables. Out of respect for the animals, we kindly ask that you do not bring any dairy, eggs, or meat (including fish) onto the property.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the animal yards or enclosures.
TOUR GUIDELINES:
- Service and companion animals are welcome on sanctuary property, but not allowed in any of the animal yards or enclosures. Animals cannot be left in cars.
- Wear clothing that you don't care about getting dirty. This is a farm setting, so mud and poop are kind of a thing here. We recommend long pants and closed-toed shoes. A hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle are also a great idea.
- Remember that you are visiting our animals' home- their safe space. No running, jumping, loud noises or quick movements are allowed.
- NEVER pick up an animal without the permission and assistance of one of our volunteers.
- This is a safe haven for animals, not a petting zoo. Animals are never forced to interact with guests and are given the ability to walk away, should they choose to do so.
- Make sure you know where your child is at all times. It is not our volunteers' responsibility to babysit.
- Have a question? Our volunteers are here to help!
