We are delighted to welcome Marjo Oosterhoff back to Anam Ashram on Saturday 11th October 2025 and Sunday 12th October 2025.
We’ll be practising Open Awareness: a form of vipassana or mindfulness meditation where we let the mind and heart show us what is ‘alive’ in us, without putting ourselves under pressure to ‘get it right’. We might even stumble upon what is already kind and joyful in ourselves, in the safe and sacred space that is the Anam Ashram.

A deposit of €30 per day secures a booking, as places are limited to 12 people. There will be a break for lunch, and you are asked to bring your own vegetarian lunch. Coffee, teas and biscuits will be provided by the Ashram.
This silent retreat is suitable for beginners and non-beginners. There will be sitting meditation alternated by walking meditation or another form of movement.
On the days you are invited to give a donation for Marjo's guidance, if possible. It is recommended to come for both days, but if that’s not possible then coming for one day is fine too.
