ABOUT THE SHOWSet in a Scottish mental institution in the early 1990's, the play reveals hope and joy in the fragile beauty of the human heart. When middle-aged man, Eddie McKenna arrives to reinvigorate Saint Jude‘s defunct hospital radio station, he and the patients do more than turn a ramshackle station into a deeply moving, painful, yet positive experience for everyone. Fighting against his own midlife crisis, drinking and self-loathing, Eddie befriends the people seeking help for their own illnesses and mental health. Eddie and the misunderstood patients of Saint Jude strive to live their dreams and accepted beyond the stigma of those struggling with mental health.
An equally funny, yet profoundly dramatic & heartfully moving adaptation of the popular BBC drama series made in the early 1990's. A true reflection of the human heart, mental health and the perception of those around us. This story is a must tell and must see. It also boasts a great classic soundtrack as no other radio station can deliver!

(No children roles available. Must be 18+.)

Auditions will be cold reads from the script as well as a few dramatic monologues.
British and Scottish accents are used in this show.
Rehearsals will begin on March 24th and consist of Mon-Thurs 7-9pm rehearsals.
Doors will open 15 minutes before posted audition times. All auditions and rehearsals will be conducted at Seraphim Theater.
