OPEN AUDITIONS for Vanishing Elephant Players' upcoming production of All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914. We are looking for actors of all ages, races, body types, abilities, and skill levels to audition for this play based on a heart-wrenching true story. Please note that all characters are men. Auditions will consist of singing and cold reads. Please check out the audition packet for more info.

The Western Front: Christmas 1914. Out of the violence of World War I, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. An a cappella chorale, All Is Calm is a remarkable true story in the words and songs of the men who lived it.
Auditions held in the Purple Room of the Historic Masonic Temple (700 N. Madison, Bay City). Production dates are November 29th-December 1st.
At this time, please note that due to stairs leading to the door as well as to the bathrooms, our building is not yet accessible to all.
