Hip Hop Take over at Tennis Bar! Maybe you also find yourself sometimes sitting and wondering about a good Hip Hop Party in Berlin,at least my gang and me have that on a regular basis. At some point I was like ok well let’s just do it ourselves. Because I don’t wanna go to the ones were you only have cis dudes humping your leg without consent or annoy you all night with their bs. I am accompanied by this music all my life,and I love how confused people get with me at times because my music taste is a big old box of candy and travels through so many genres. This night is dedicated to the genre that makes me feel at ease,that can make me nicely angry, also hella sexy & empowered,the genre that connects so many different countries and cultures,so many struggles,political situations & roller coasters of emotions. This one’s for all the friends around me dead or alive who love Hip Hop by heart no matter what look they might be rocking. We will travel through loads of different brenches Hip Hop grew over the years and I def also bring some stuff it rooted in. I am so over the moon to do this together with lovely @canelaa.anderson & cutie @zeus_duuupree - I adore both of them so much,and phew get ready for a really good music selection. This is a safe place,you know me I can get angry and I don’t hesitate to get loud,so behave yourself and be respectful - I have no fucking time for macho bs.
This event is a fundraiser for @watermelonrelief - I admire their work deeply! So all proceeds will be donated 🍉✨
