Op Shop ‘Till You Drop is a musical amalgamating musical genres, featuring 5 part harmonies and live accompaniment by a small band.This show contains themes of sustainability, self acceptance/appreciation, gender expression, friendship and ‘adorkable’ romance. A strong message of shopping recycled, and the sustainability concerns of places like fast fashion stores and online warehouses.
All wrapped up together with a comedic bow, in a show that everyone can enjoy, suitable for any age to watch, and love.
Please note: Tuesday performances are relaxed, sensory-friendly shows. For this performance the sound effects will be turned down, music will be quieter and without the live band to accommodate for this and lighting will be less dramatic. Additionally, there will be greater flexibility for moving and noise in the auditorium. Relaxed performances are an adapted performance of the show to accommodate for those with sensory processing differences or learning disabilities.

At least 30 minutes before the show. Our performances start bang on time and it takes a hot second to welcome you into the building.

The Butterfly Club is a licensed venue. Accordingly, patrons under 18 are only allowed on premises in the company of a parent or legal guardian.

We strongly encourage using public transport. The Butterfly Club is a short stroll from Flinders Street station and Melbourne Central, and an even shorter stroll from any tram that travels through Swanston or Collins Streets (get off at Town Hall).
