We're not quite ready for summer to be done yet and to go back to the daily grind. We don't wanna work, we just wanna bang on the drum all day and that's what the opera characters are saying too. Our singers will be representing maids and other workers who are fed up with their jobs, or representing royalty who don't really work or representing a different kind of working girl/gentleman who also does not want to work.
