For the first time ever, Oorleef Dance Project brings their acclaimed production "The Battle Is In The Mind" to Copenhagen a raw, physical, and deeply moving exploration of what it means to survive your own mind.
Born in Cape Town, Oorleef ("survive" in Afrikaans) is a dance company that doesn't perform about mental health they perform through it. Every movement in this show comes from lived experience: anxiety that won't switch off, the weight of depression, the quiet war of self-doubt, and the hard-won moments of breaking through to the other side.
Whether you've battled your own mind, love someone who has, or simply believe in the power of art to say what words can't — this show will stay with you.
