Please come along to a brilliant show coming to Chedworth Village Hall on Saturday March 28th at 7.30pm.
Having surprisingly beaten the visitation of the grim reaper, two old friends reunite in a hilarious sit-down drama about age, showbiz and the cartography of friendship. But as they reflect on religion, politics, life and happy slapping, it transpires there is more to their relationship than it first appears.
This ”masterclass in comic timing” is a rare chance to see two of Britain’s most enduring comedians together on stage as Arthur Smith, a familiar voice from BBC Radio 4 and Edinburgh Festival favourite, joins long-time partner Phil Nice to recreate the madcap magic of their early days in the comedy circuit’s golden age.
Directed by award winning comedy writer, Kevin Day, “OOF!” promises laughter, nostalgia and an evening of pure fun.
The show is an hour followed by a short break and a Q&A with Arthur and Phil.
