Come and join your friends and neighbors as we begin a new holiday tradition by kicking off the season with a good old-fashioned tree lighting ceremony in the park.
In addition to the main Christmas Tree, we will have a display of several trees that have been adopted and decorated by Onsted families and businesses. (Tree adoptions are expected to be even better than last year, so it really should not be missed). Make sure to vote for your favorite tree.
The event will feature:
* Holiday Music
* Delicious treats and hot beverages from
local vendors (Bubblz Cafe’ and Mitten
Made Pastries
* Kiwanis Club holiday wreaths for sale
* Choir to lead us in Christmas Carol sing- alongs
* Voting and prizes for best-decorated trees
* Visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. A great backdrop for kids’ photos
* Tree Lighting will be at 6pm sharp.
