There is no doubt that Onslaught are the undisputed Kings of UK Thrash and one of the original pioneers of the Thrash Metal genre in general. Issuing 7 studio albums & 2 Live albums to date, Onslaught were originally formed in 1982 by Songwriter / Guitarist Nige Rockett and Paul Hill. The band rapidly established themselves globally with a series of classic album releases in the 1980s; ‘Power From Hell’ - 1985 / ‘The Force’ - 1986 / ‘In Search of Sanity - 1989. Renowned for writing neck breaking metal anthems such as Power From Hell / Metal Forces /Killing Peace / 66’Fucking’6’ & Bow Down to the Clowns, Onslaughts’ songs still stand as ferocious mosh-pit inducing favourites across generations of dedicated metal heads; A real testament to the quality of music that Onslaught has constantly created throughout their long and illustrious career. As an internationally recognised Heavy Metal powerhouse Onslaught have played over 70 countries word-wide, from Lebanon to Latvia, Argentina to China; Appearing at the most prestigious festivals on the planet and performing countless global tours / shows with the likes of Motorhead, Slayer, Venom, Anthrax & Behemoth, to name but a few.
