Women of all ages are still highly underrepresented in the tech sector with currently only 19% of the UK technology workforce comprised of women, whilst within tech-related startups only 20% of founders or co-founders are female. Women typically face higher barriers to entry at almost every stage of the job-seeking process within tech!
