Different sari weaves and draping techniques are a testimony to the rich diversity and traditions across different regions of India. Woven from the finest quality silk and prized for its beautiful craftsmanship, Paithan's famous Paithani has a history spanning over hundreds of years.
Join us as we explore the story of the Paithani sari as told through the eyes of its weaver! Written and illustrated by Radika Tipnis.
Radhika Tipnis is working as a designer in the field of visual arts and her artistic endeavors are seen to be focused on children. Part of a series of books by Jyotsna Publications that traces the different handicrafts of India.
