Online Drawing Class - The Transitioning Body - Life Drawing Class

Join me for an online guided class exploring the body as an everchanging vessel. Our bodies go through seasons, interchanging, expressing different forms and emotions as we travel through life. I think its important to honour these changes, to understand it is a normal part of life. Explore the topic of how we should see outside of the 'perfect' body we are taught to adhere to and see what it is to understand and embrace the changes our bodies go through, whether that caused by our travel through time or our own choices.

Whether you have been drawing for some time, or just wish to try something new, explore the body with me from a minimal perspective. I will teach you a minimalist approach to form, exploring drawing as a pastime and enjoying taking inspiration from the body.

You will need:

1. A pencil/s
2. Pens - a few colour options great, but just one is fine (recommend Posca pens, but any felt tips will do)
3. A6/A5 Paper - feel free to have a few options, small sizes will mean you are able to create more pieces during the workshop
4. It will be useful to have a few small body images for inspiration, however do not worry if not. If you wish to take some of yourself before the class choose close crops of details rather than whole body images, as we will focus on close minimalist details (see images with this event for reference).

This class will be held over Zoom, the link will be shared by email shortly before the class is due to begin.

This is an adult workshop, for 16's and over.
