One World Together launch

For the past two years, GDI academic Niki Banks and Chibwe Masabo Henry have been drawing upon their academic research and extensive experience of working in the development sector to tackle the vast inequalities in the aid sector that privilege the largest and Northern-based NGOs.

They have created One World Together, which brings together passionate and committed Global Citizens together to build a movement towards more equitable and impactful funding for local and community-based organisations in the UK and globally.

It provides an affordable and engaged model for us all to contribute to improved global development outcomes, centring the local actors that are doing brilliant work for their communities around the world.
