The world that we live in, is buzzing with myriad traditions and musical forms across various indigenous cultures. It is but natural that various musical styles from around the world tend to influence each other, leading to newer forms that keep evolving.
This festival showcasing varied musical forms, reaffirms the peaceful co-existence of cultural and artistic plurality in the world. With this event we celebrate the power of music as a healing force that promotes cross-cultural understanding, and remind people of all cultures and religions that we share a common humanity.

Mumbai Fuzikk
Experimental Theatre, 6.30 pm
Led by Aditya Kalyanpur, an accomplished tabla exponent, the ensemble includes Chandana Bala, a vocalist trained and steeped in Carnatic music. Additionally, the group includes four well-trained and talented instrumentalists: Hrishikesh Majumdar (flute), Shikhar Naad Qureshi (percussion), Ninad Daithankar (santoor) and Prashant Ohol (keyboards).
On the backdrop of some enthralling visuals, Mumbai Fuzikk will take the listeners on a journey through the awe-inspiring landmarks of the majestic city of Mumbai with an eclectic mix of classical, jazz and fusion music.

The Yellow Diary is a leading pop-rock band with a fresh sonic identity that blends thought-provoking poetry with a unique, modern soundscape. Charged with powerful song-writing, their music resonates with mysterious and unpredictable personal experiences that we encounter as we tread along the journey of life.
This Mumbai based musical collective includes Rajan Batra (lead vocalist and lyricist), Himonshu Parikh (keyboards and backing vocals), Vaibhav Pani (guitar), Stuart DaCosta (bass), Sahil Shah (drums) and others. Recognised for its unique blend of electronic and rock music, the band has several popular tracks to its credit.
The band will present some of its well-known tracks such as Roz Roz, Mann, Kahe Kahe, and Rab Rakha, to name a few.
