An anthology of 22 short films—documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental—created by Gaza-based filmmakers during the ongoing war. These deeply personal stories capture resilience, creativity, and everyday humanity in the midst of devastation, filmed under extreme and often dangerous conditions.
This powerful and urgent collective work offers a rare glimpse into life beyond the headlines — raw, intimate, and profoundly moving.
🎤 Due to the situation in Gaza, none of the filmmakers are able to join our debate. The conversation will be held with Palestinian activist and artist Ahmed Tobasi, Norwegian journalist Pernille Solheim, and Doctors Without Borders fieldworker Anders Holm.
🏆 Awards and recognition:
Winner at Torino Film Festival, selected as Palestine’s official submission for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards, and widely acclaimed at international film festivals for its courage and authenticity.
👉 A fundraiser for Masharawi Fund for Films and Filmmakers in Gaza will take place as part of the event.
