Join our in-person intensive course dedicated entirely to SketchUp, designed for beginners who want to learn practical, real-world 3D modeling skills. This hands-on day will guide you through essential tools, native workflows, and 3D modeling techniques to help you turn ideas into accurate, professional 3D models and presentation layouts.

What You’ll Learn

• Introduction & Interface Setup: Setting up SketchUp preferences, navigating the 3D viewport (Orbit, Pan, Zoom), and customizing your toolbars for a faster workflow.
• Essential 2D & 3D Modeling Tools: Mastering drawing tools (Line, Rectangle, Circle) and 3D creation features like Push/Pull, Offset, and Follow Me.
• Model Organization & Efficiency: Structuring models cleanly using Groups and Components to keep your files manageable, lightweight, and easy to edit.
• Materials, Styles & Cameras: Applying custom textures, positioning camera angles, creating section cuts, and saving Scenes to navigate your 3D space effortlessly.
• Edits, Revisions & Scale: Precise modeling with the Tape Measure and Scale tools, making quick design updates without rebuilding models from scratch.
• Layout & Exporting: Introducing LayOut for creating scaled 2D presentation drawings, dimensioning, and exporting high-resolution images or PDFs for client presentation and print.

• Location: Portslade, Brighton & Hove, UK
• Duration: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (One-to-one intensive)
• Price: £450 (Includes tea, coffee & cake)
• Requirements: Please bring a laptop compatible with SketchUp Pro, with the software installed and ready to go (the free trial is fine).
