We invite your studio to:
• Enter dancers in the One Stage • One Spotlight Championship Limited Registration All Genres
• Celebrate your dancers, Celebrate 40 years of DC Dance, Music and Community
• Be part of our historic 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration.
• Cheer on dancers from every style as we celebrate our shared passion for dance.
As part of the championship, our judges will also select Spotlight Elite representatives—one from each genre—4 teams —to perform in a unique Gala Final competition where every style comes together as one team in celebration of dance.
We Need Your Help
To make this championship truly representative of our dance community, we are also inviting studios to nominate respected dance professionals who may be interested in serving as judges or honoured VIP guests for this special anniversary event.
If you know an instructor, studio owners, choreographer, performer, or dance leader who demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a passion for supporting dancers of all styles, we would love to hear from you and their story.
Together, let's celebrate 40 years of Dance & Community by creating an event that welcomes every studio, every genre, and every dancer.

As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we are proud to introduce the One Stage • One Spotlight Championship—a competition created to unite dancers from every genre on one stage.
Whether your passion is Ballroom, Latin, Ballet, Contemporary, Swing, Country, Breakdance, Tango, or another dance style, we invite your studio to be part of this exciting celebration.
This isn't Ballroom versus Breakdance.
It isn't Ballet versus Latin.
It isn't one style competing to prove it's better than another.
It's every genre standing together and celebrating what makes each style extraordinary.
