CHAUTAUQUA PLAYHOUSE presents “One Slight Hitch”, a comedy by Lewis Black, beginning on June 14 at the Playhouse. The show will run through July 14. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:00 pm. The performances are held at the Chautauqua Playhouse, 5325 Engle Road in the La Sierra Community Center in Carmichael. Admission is $23 General, $21 Seniors/Students and SARTA members. Premium seating is an additional dollar. Tickets at the door are $25.
It’s Courtney’s wedding day, and her mom, Delia, is making sure that this is the perfect wedding, that Delia had always planned for her daughter. It has all the usuals of a perfect wedding, the accomplished and lovely bride & groom, perfect food, perfect decorations, (almost) perfect family members and like any comedy about a wedding, things will go wrong! Almost perfectly wrong! We do guarantee though that one wonderful couple will get their perfect wedding… perhaps not just as perfectly. A touch of Neil Simon written by, Lewis Black, everyone’s favorite curmudgeonly comedian!

The direction is by Sara Townsend, with set and light design by Andrew Fiffick. The cast features Adelaide Angle, Jennifer York, Stephen Watson, Noah Harris, Katie Smith-Induni, Nerissa Ann Feranil, and Tyler Anderson.
