One Sheet Furniture Lab Berlin: Design & Build a Plywood Stool in One Day
About this Event
In the One Sheet Furniture Lab, you will design and build your own plywood stool from a single sheet of material in just one day.
This is a full-day woodworking workshop in Berlin where you don’t simply follow instructions. You will learn how structure works, how material behaves, and how to confidently use essential woodworking tools.
Working in a small group setting, you will be guided step by step through the entire process:
• Understanding basic stability and proportions
• Designing your stool within a smart structural framework
• Cutting and shaping plywood using professional tools
• Assembling and finishing your piece
• Taking home a functional stool you built yourself
No prior experience is required. This workshop is beginner friendly and designed to help you feel safe, supported, and capable.
By the end of the day, you won’t just leave with a stool.
You’ll leave with the confidence to build more.
