One Port City Day Halifax

*FREE ADMISSION* There will be plenty of fun for children of all ages including bouncy castles, carnival treats, live music, a BBQ, keg bowling, and CN’s All Aboard for Safety mini train, Little Obie. One Port City Day features vessel displays and exhibits from port partners including CN, PSA Halifax, Atlantic Pilotage Authority, Atlantic Towing, Canadian Coast Guard, Discovery Centre, Commissionaires, Halifax Employers Association, and many more. Mi’kmaq canoe builder Todd Labrador will be on-site with a 16-foot birch bark canoe and other traditional Indigenous trade and transportation items. Everyone is invited to join in the festivities and learn more about career pathways and opportunities within the port community. It will also have interactive displays from Seaport District tenants and community members including the Africville Museum, Garrison Brewing, Discovery Centre, and more. The PIER (Port Innovation, Engagement and Research) will open the doors to its living lab to showcase interactive exhibits from Member organizations.
